Project Managers — Ad # 6237

Location: North Vancouver, B.C.
Corporate Project Management Services has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who will plan, manage and implement complex medium to large scale projects which may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, managing and implementing large scale internal projects or assigned segments of large, complex projects while defining and managing budget and project scope and structure.
- Coordinate project schedules and deliverables with internal departments and liase with external agencies as required.
- Negotiate for and arrange acquisition of project goods, services and resources.
- Oversee project implementation and make changes to project plans and budgets.
- Coordinate communications with internal departments or external agencies while resolving related issues and problems.
- Direct the work of the project team, coach, train and assesses the performance of project team members.
- Coordinate the development of project documentation and develop and present project status reports.
Your qualifications include:
- Post secondary education in Business Administration, or Project Management.
- A Project Manager Professional (PMP) designation is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to apply principles, concepts, standards, practices and tools of project management.
- Knowledge of the concepts and practices of risk management, and negotiation pertaining to resource acquisition, quality and cost control and change management.
- Knowledge of the relevant computer systems, technology and applications.
