Senior Functional Analyst, SAP HR — Ad # 6593
Employment type: Full-time Permanent
Location: North Vancouver, B.C.
This is a key position in the IS Human Resource Services SAP team and the successful candidate will focus on functional analysis and configuration of the following SAP HR modules; Time Evaluation, CATS Time Entry, Personnel Administration, Organization Management, Business Intelligence (BI) and will support other SAP HR modules such as eRecruitment, Training & Events, Performance Management, Payroll and the delivery of business functionality via portal technology for ESS and MSS as required.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with business subject matter experts to facilitate, analyze, design, configure and deliver functionality in the SAP enterprise system that supports business process requirements for sustainment and minor enhancement work activities.
- Participate in corporate projects as required; to participate and provide meaningful collaboration with all technical and business teams that support and use SAP.
- Supporting and driving forward process methodology, standards and deliverables that support corporate, divisional and departmental objectives and procedures and has a demonstrated personal commitment to knowledge transfer and development of team members.
Your qualifications will include:
- Senior to expert level knowledge of SAP Human Resources system design and configuration in the following modules: Time Evaluation, CATS Time Entry, Personnel Administration, Organization Management and Business Intelligence (BI).
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of ABAP programming and the configuration of SAP Time Schemas.
- Working knowledge of other SAP HR Modules such as, Payroll, Performance Management, Training & Events and eRecruitment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, deliver, manage and lead the resolution of small to large business and system process problems related to SAP HR modules.
- Significant demonstrated ability to troubleshoot within the SAP system (ERP 6.0) and associated interfaces.
- Experience in and execution of the principles of project management including development, delivery, execution and monitoring of plans for both operational and project planning.
