Out-of-province claims
Accident Benefit claims that occur out-of-province may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. If you are injured in a motor vehicle accident outside B.C., please discuss accident benefit entitlements with your ICBC adjuster.
IMPORTANT: Section 103 of the Insurance (Vehicle) Regulation sets time limits (as well as other conditions) for taking legal action to support Accident Benefit claims. In some cases, the date to start an action may be extended, but written notice is required. Find out more. |
