Learner's Licences

 
Class 7 two-year learner's licence, renewal or duplicate (replacement) $10
Class 1 - 6 one-year learner's licence, renewal or duplicate (replacement) No charge
Class 8 two-year learner's licence, renewal or duplicate (replacement) No charge
Note: you must re-qualify on the applicable knowledge tests and pay the test fee to renew a learner's licence.

Upon new issuance, renewal or upgrade to a Class 1-4 driver's licence $28

Effective April 1, 2004, if you only use your Commercial Driver's Licence for volunteer purposes you may be exempt from paying the Medical Examination processing fee. BCID cards issued since 1997 have shown an expiry date. On April 1, 2002, BCID cards without an expiry date will not be recognized as valid identification.
