Sheila oversees the Transformation division, which provides overall leadership to align people, process and technology with business strategy to meet long-term corporate objectives. She is currently serving as the Executive Sponsor of a major transformation program that is the most significant change the company has gone through and will help prepare ICBC for the future.
Sheila joined the company in 2007, bringing extensive experience in business transformation, operations and information technology. She has held senior executive roles with Bell Canada, Cap Gemini and Ernst & Young. She has also been a successful entrepreneur.
Sheila holds an undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering from McGill University, as well as a post-graduate diploma in network engineering from the University of Toronto, and is a member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.
In 2012, Sheila was appointed to the board of directors of BC Assessment, a Crown corporation whose mandate is to establish uniform property assessments throughout B.C. She is also the chair of the BC chapter of the Canadian Women in Technology (CanWIT). Sheila is also a member of the Board of Advisors at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business.
She is a graduate of the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and holds the ICD.D designation.
