ICBC recognizes B.C. volunteers for helping make roads safer in their communities

In recognition of National Volunteer Week (April 15 to 21), ICBC is thanking the 3,400 volunteers throughout B.C. for their continued support in making their communities safer for everyone.

Last year throughout the province, these volunteers spent approximately 28,000 hours delivering the Speed Watch program to help reduce speed-related crashes in their communities and over 111,000 hours delivering auto crime programs to help protect vehicle owners from becoming the victim of auto crime and to help identify and recover stolen vehicles.
