Lost your ICBC insurance & vehicle registration?

To insure your vehicle in another province or state, you will probably need the vehicle’s B.C. registration document. The registration is included with your ICBC insurance policy.

How to replace your vehicle registration

The steps to replace your B.C. vehicle registration differ, depending whether you are already outside B.C., or still in B.C.

If you are already outside B.C.

Follow these three steps:

1. Fill out a a registration replacement form (PDF)
2. Fax the form to:
   • Within Canada or U.S.: 1-877-760-4455
   • Outside Canada: 1-604-443-4121

   • Other countries: 1-604-661-6956
