Gift Tax exemptions

If you are claiming a “gift exemption” from Tax on Designated Property (TDP) when importing a Canadian vehicle into B.C., you’ll need to show that a provincial tax has been paid. Find out more.external link(PDF)

And as of May 1, 2011, you need to complete this formexternal link (PDF) for any gift exemption on B.C. registered vehicles and Canadian imports.
