Let's face it. You depend on your vehicle. You feel stranded without it. ICBC wants to help meet your transportation needs. By choosing a c.a.r shop VALET facility, you get guaranteed repairs with guaranteed mobility.

Once the repairs begin, VALET facilities will help you get to where you need to go. Will a taxi ride get you home or to work? Does public transit suit you better? Need a courtesy car to get through your day-to-day business? If you purchased ICBC loss of use coverage and require a rental car, the VALET facility will help you make the necessary arrangements. Guaranteed mobility means all this and more.

What is VALET service?

For your convenience, VALET facilities can drop off a courtesy car at your home or business, and pick up your damaged vehicle to begin repairs. They'll also deliver your vehicle back to you when they've completed the repair. All of this at no additional charge.

Call for guaranteed mobility

To ensure your transportation needs are met, contact the c.a.r. shop VALET facility in advance to make arrangements for your vehicle's repair. Usually you will be asked to drive your vehicle until the repair facility obtains the necessary parts and materials. Please note that valet service is available during the repair facility's hours of business and within 30 km of the facility.

Where can I find a c.a.r. shop VALET facility?

There are more than 400 c.a.r. shop facilities in B.C. meeting the highest repair industry standards for workmanship and professionalism. ICBC approved the first c.a.r. shop VALET facilities on April 1, 2001 to introduce additional customer service choices, specifically meeting your substitute transportation needs. Use the c.a.r. shop search to locate ICBC accredited repair locations first. VALET facilities, if available in your search area, will be shown on the list by an asterisk (*).
