The most important thing you can do after a crash is to take care of yourself.

If you've been injured, make sure you get treatment quickly.

Afterwards, take the time required for rest and rehabilitation. Your basic Autoplan insurance provides a number of benefits for injured people.

The claim must be reported as soon as reasonably possible. If necessary, ask a friend or family member to collect the information you need and to call Dial-A-Claim. Make sure he or she gives us your name, birthdate and personal health number (from your Care Card).

Once the claim has been reported, you can contact us later, when you're feeling better.

If you haven't been injured, try to get in touch with Dial-A-Claim as soon as possible - after you've collected the information you need to make a claim.

NOTE: Do NOT drive to a Claim Centre before calling Dial-A-Claim. Your Dial-A-Claim operator will direct you to a claim centre near you for an appointment at a date and time convenient to you.
