Not satisfied with your repairs?

ICBC-accredited c.a.r. shop repairs are guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle. If you're not happy with the repairs, we will work with you and the repair shop to make them right.

Spoken to the car shop manager and haven't received a satisfactory response?

Please contact us, depending on your claim:

  1. If your vehicle was taken to a claim centre for a damage estimate, contact the ICBC estimator assigned to your claim.
  2. If your vehicle was taken directly to a repair shop, contact your local claim centre.

Non-ICBC accredited shop repairs

Non-ICBC accredited shops may not offer guaranteed repairs, but you can still contact us if you're not happy with them.

First, try speaking to the manager of the shop. If your issue is still not resolved, please contact the estimator assigned to your claim.

Still not satisfied?

Most repair issues can be resolved through the above steps. However, if you're still not satisfied, and have Optional vehicle coverage with ICBC, you may ask for a separate review by an ICBC manager.

If this doesn’t settle the matter, you may be eligible for vehicle-damage arbitration. You and ICBC would apply tp the British Columbia Arbitration & Mediation Institute.external link
