Preventing fraud

A good investigation system makes fraud prevention possible. Public co-operation makes it work. (If you know about a suspicious claim, call ICBC's Tip Line. You don't have to give your name).

Here's an example of attempted insurance fraud. Many other types of fraud are tried, including:

ICBC tackles fraud head-on. We resist fraudulent and exaggerated claims. And we sue in Civil Court to recover money fraudulently obtained from ICBC.
