Commercial fraud

Ever heard of:

• body shops that bill customers for new parts but don't actually install them?
• suppliers that systematically perform shoddy, sub-standard repairs while charging top dollar for the work?

Sooner or later, someone will try to skim unearned dollars from any big system. ICBC's responsibilities include stopping this before it starts.

Honest suppliers can make a reasonable profit on their work for ICBC. But the corporation checks for signs of overbilling or other abuses in order to catch the scammers.
