When you move, you must change the address on both your driver's licence and—if you have one—your insurance policy.
To change the address your insurance, you need to go to an Autoplan broker in person to sign documents.
If your policy isn’t up-to-date, you might not be covered in the event of a claim.

You must change the address on your driver’s licence within 10 days of moving.
You can change the address on your driver's licence three ways—online, by phone or in person.
To update your driver's licence, we recommend using the B.C. government’s online address change service.
