Ready to take your passenger vehicle or motorcycle road test?
The earliest date you can take the test is marked on your learner’s licence.
How to book
You can book in-person, by phone, or—in certain locations—online:

If so, you can book your road test online. In all other locations (or if you're getting a commercial licence), you must book by phone. |

- Taking ICBC-approved (GLP) driver training? Your driving school
can book your road test for you.
- Can’t make your appointment? If you're going to cancel or rebook, let us know at least 48 hours ahead of time. Otherwise, you'll have to pay a $25 cancellation fee.
What to bring
Arrive early: about 15 minutes before your road test appointment time.
When you come for your test, you need to bring
- required ID
- payment for the road test fee ($35) and a Class 7 novice photo driver's licence ($75)
- valid insurance and registration documents, and
- a safe vehicle.
