Your driving record

Your driving record (driver's abstract) shows when your original licence was issued and any driving offences from the last five years.

The driving record for commercial drivers is called a National Safety Code (NSC) abstract. 

How can I get a copy of a record?

Refer to the table below for information on how to get a free copy of a record.

  • the National Safety Code (NSC) drivers’ abstracts for each driver in your fleet

Visiting a driver licensing office

By visiting in person, you’ll get your driver licensing record right away. Remember to bring with you your driver’s licence and required ID.

Call to get your driver's record or NSC abstract

We can mail, e-mail or fax a copy of your driving record, your National Safety Code (NSC) driver’s abstract, or the abstract for each driver in your fleet.
