Find out how to pay a bill for a Driver Penalty Point premium.

How to pay

If you've received a bill for a Driver Penalty Point premium, you have 30 days from the invoice date to pay it.

Your bill can be paid in person or by mail.

Please bring the bill we sent to you and pay it at one of the following locations:

Paying by mail

Here is how to pay by mail:

If you … Then …
are paying by cheque or money order make it payable to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.
wish to pay by Visa or MasterCard fill in the credit card details, including your signature, on the remittance slip attached to your notice.
have the remittance slip tear it off the notice and include it with your payment.
don't have your remittance slip be sure to include a note with all of these details:
  • invoice number
  • total number of points
  • amount owing (as shown on your invoice)
  • your full name
  • address
  • driver's licence number, and
  • date of birth.

This information is needed to process your payment.
