Neil de Gelder, Q.C.
Neil de Gelder is Executive Vice President of Stern Partners Inc., a Vancouver-based private investment company controlled by Ronald N. Stern. Stern Partners, through its affiliates, is the lead investor in a diverse range of operating businesses, including manufacturing, publishing, retailing, distribution and real estate.
Prior to joining Stern Partners in 2005, Neil was a leading corporate lawyer with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance and financial services matters.
Neil is a past Executive Director of the British Columbia Securities Commission. He has also served on a variety of corporate and community boards during his 25 year career, including the Vancouver Board of Trade, Vancouver Art Gallery, and Vancouver Recital Society.
Neil is married to Michelle Rupp and has two sons.
