Keith Stewart — Chief Information Officer


Keith Stewart joined ICBC in 1982, where he has held a number of positions in areas such as information technology, business re-engineering, telecommunications and operations. Keith assumed the role of Project Manager for the ICBC/Motor Vehicle Branch merger in 1996/97 and was the senior manager responsible for commercial vehicle operations from 1997 to 1998. In addition to that role, he was the Project Director for the corporate restructuring initiative.

Most recently, Keith held the position of Vice President, Vancouver Island Region where he was responsible for operations and services for all lines of business in the region.

Keith assumed his current role of Vice President, Information Services in December 2000, in which capacity he is accountable for providing the strategic information leadership and services needed to meet the business requirements of the Corporation.

Prior to joining ICBC, Keith held a variety of technology-related positions with Canadian Airlines.

Keith is a graduate of BCIT where he has continued as a sessional instructor over the past 15 years. He currently serves in an advisory capacity for BCIT's Operations Management Program and Simon Fraser University's Master of Technology Program.
