Senior Accounting Analyst — Ad # 6552

If you have several years of experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting, you will welcome this dynamic, challenging opportunity. In this key role, you will assist our senior management team by providing in-depth financial analysis and compiling detailed accounting and financial reports.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing alternative financial policies, and developing recommendations.
- Providing technical advice and direction to staff.
- Providing senior management with information on corporate financial position and operating results.
- Working with corporate departments to prepare financial reports, financial performance analysis and benchmarking analysis.
- Conducting special studies at the request of senior management.
- Analyzing alternative financial policies, and developing recommendations.
- Developing and maintaining various financial databases to support the organization’s financial reporting and analysis requirements.
Your accounting designation (CGA, CMA or CA) is enhanced by several years of related work experience, knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principles, standards and practices. You have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, as well as excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Advanced expertise in Excel is required, and experience using ERP systems, particularly SAP, would be an asset.
