We are currently seeking candidates for an opening in our Williams Lake Claim Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing damage to vehicles including a variety of specialized heavy equipment and non-typical commercial vehicles. You will also review and discuss the estimate and repair process with claimants and collision repair facilities.
Collision repair industry training and several years' related experience is required, as is knowledge of current standards, techniques, technological developments and material damage estimating methods.
Significant contact with claimants and business partners will require good customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Your innovation, self-motivation and ability to work independently in a team setting will be key, as will proficiency with PCs. The ability to meet the provincially legislated requirements of the Criminal Records Review Act is essential, as is a valid BC driver’s license. There is also a requirement for field work in tow yards and salvage facilities throughout the region, as well as the ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
