Investment Trainee — Ad # 6587

Location: North Vancouver, BC
We are seeking a junior Investment Advisor to join our dynamic Investments team.
You provide analytical services in support of our investments portfolios. Specific duties will include the writing of periodic market summaries, portfolio performance summaries and status reports for the Investment Committee.
In this Investments Department supporting role, your responsibilities include:
- Assisting in systems implementations and special projects;
- Initiating, settling and reconciling trade;
- Reporting of investment performance and equity compliance;
- Forecasting cash-flow; and
- Providing analytical services in support of our investment portfolios;
You must demonstrate:
- Outstanding technical and business writing skills and strong organizational and communication skills;
- Outstanding quantitative proficiency;
- Strong computer skills in particular Microsoft Access, Excel and Word; and
- Knowledge of accounting standards.
Your qualifications include:
- Completion of or in progress of achieving a degree in Finance or Accounting.
