How to buy

If you owe money to ICBC or the provincial government

If you owe money to ICBC or motor vehicle fines to the provincial government, you must pay your debt before you can renew your insurance or your driver's licence.

This includes debts for:

• driver penalty point premiums (See What do I do about fines and penalties?)
• unpaid tickets for speeding or other traffic violations
• unpaid premiums owed to ICBC
• Multiple Crash Premium or its predecessor, the Crash Responsibility Charge
