Emergency Roadside Expense Repayment
Problems such as a flat tire, dead battery, getting stuck in a ditch or locking your keys in your car can sometimes stop you in your travels.
RoadsidePlus helps cover the cost. With RoadsidePlus coverage, we'll reimburse up to $50 of the expenses you pay to get going again.
Eligible expenses include:
- Towing to a repair shop
- Phone calls for emergency help
- Taxi fares
- And more
(Parts and supplies are not covered.)
RoadsidePlus will cover up to two occurrences per policy, to a maximum of $50 per occurrence. For more information, contact your Autoplan broker.
Claiming expenses is easy:
- At the time of a roadside incident, pay for the services you need to get mobile again. But keep your receipts.
- Fill out an application form for expense repayment (printable PDF).
- Within 12 months (late claims won't be reimbursed), mail the application with your original receipts to:

RoadsidePlus is excess to any other similar coverage that you carry.
If you need emergency help, ICBC cannot arrange this. You must call for the emergency help yourself.
