The driver penalty point premium that you need to pay depends on your total number of points in a 12-month period.

Points are used only once to calculate and bill you for your premiums. Once paid these points are not reviewed again to assesss your driver penalty point premium. However, a record of each motor vehicle violation you are found guilty of remains on your record for 5 years.
