B.C.'s Class 7L knowledge test for new drivers is one of the most comprehensive in North America. The questions need thought and understanding; just memorizing facts won't be enough.
The Online Practice Knowledge Test can help you prepare for the real, Class 7L knowledge test. It will give you an idea of the kinds of questions to expect.
You can't just rely on the practice test, though. To pass the real knowledge test, you'll need to really study RoadSense for Drivers.
The passing grade for the real knowledge test is 80%.

How the practice test works
Each time you take the practice knowledge test, 25 multiple choice questions are randomly assembled. For each question, four possible answers are offered. Select your answer and click OK. See example

The test will tell you whether your answer was correct or incorrect. It will also refer you to the related page in RoadSense for Drivers. See example

Any time during the practice test, you can check your progress by clicking the Status button. This will let you know if you're on track to pass. See example

All material in the practice test is taken from RoadSense for Drivers.
Practice test questions are similar to — but not the same as — those in the Class 7L knowledge test.

Receive a detailed test report
Once you have completed a practice test, you'll receive your score. See example
. If you provide us with your e-mail address, we'll send you a detailed report containing a list of the questions you answered incorrectly, with references to the relevant pages in the online version of RoadSensefor Drivers. This will help you to study those topics more. See example

Challenge a friend
Each time you complete the practice test, you will be invited to challenge a friend by sending them an e-mail with your test results. You can establish ongoing competition for bragging rights with friends, classmates — even your parents and teachers.
