Who is eligible for 2010 Winter Games plates?
All ICBC policyholders who are insuring an eligible vehicle in B.C. can obtain 2010 Winter Games plates.

Who wouldn’t be eligible for 2010 Winter Games plates?
Any ICBC policyholder who is insuring a vehicle for a special purpose, such as Consular, Collector, Repairer, or Amateur Radio Operator, or someone who owns a vehicle type that is not included in the program, such as a farm tractor.

Can I get 2010 Winter Games plates before my current ICBC insurance policy expires?
Yes. You can obtain 2010 Winter Games plates at any time. If you obtain the plate within 3 months of your insurance policy expiry date, you will not have to pay the $25 renewal fee until your next renewal date, twelve months later.

I own a car and a motorcycle. Can I get 2010 Winter Games plates for both vehicles?
Yes. You can obtain a set of 2010 Winter Games plates for each eligible vehicle that you own or lease.

Can I obtain 2010 Winter Games plates if I don’t own or lease an eligible vehicle or have a current insurance policy?
No. To obtain 2010 Winter Games plates, you must have, or be in the processing of insuring, an eligible vehicle with at least a basic Autoplan insurance policy.

Do you have to be a B.C. resident to have 2010 Winter Games plates?
No, but 2010 Winter Games plates may only be displayed on an eligible vehicle that is registered, licensed and insured in B.C.
