Can I request a specific number plate or series for my 2010 Winter Games plates?
No. All licence plates, including 2010 Winter Games plates, are issued in a set order. Autoplan brokers are sent the next available plate in the series.
Can I have my current licence plate number transferred to 2010 Winter Games plates?
No. The vehicle licensing system does not permit the issuance of duplicate plate numbers. 2010 Winter Games plates are being produced with a pre-determined alpha and numeric sequence.
Can I order personalized 2010 Winter Games plates?
No. Based on the limited duration of the program, anticipated demand, additional costs and administration, personalized slogans are not available for 2010 Winter Games plates.

If the plates are not returned, the customer must provide documentation to explain why one or both plates cannot be produced. The $18 non-surrender fee will not be charged in this instance as the customer is paying the $35 initial fee for the 2010 Winter Games plate.
Do I have to pay a fee if I switch from 2010 Winter Games plates to a different plate type?
Yes, to cover associated costs, a standard fee of $18 is charged when replacement licence plates are issued.
