Dr. Bruce Campana

Topics: impaired driving, speed, vehicle safety, decision making and life choices

Dr. Campana, an emergency physician, has been giving safe-driving presentations in Western Canada for the last 23 years. He’s worked in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, California and overseas, is an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and a nationally recognized speaker in emergency medicine and has been involved in several videos on safe driving and drug use.

After working at Vancouver General for much of the past 25 years, he and his family moved to Vancouver Island, where he’s now working at Victoria General. He has been married to Darlene, an emergency nurse, for 20 years, they have twin 10-year-old boys, and oversee an abnormally large selection of animals.

Audience: Best suited for a mature audience due to graphic content

Requirements: Dark room, large screen, LDC projector and AV system capable of accepting input from a wireless microphone and laptop computer. Dr. Campana can bring all of the above, excluding the screen and dark room, if required.

Cost: $500 for local schools. Schools unable to obtain funding will be given special consideration. $1,000 plus travel epxenses for out of town presentations. (Availability restricted to Vancouver Island but may be available in the Lower Mainland for two or more bookings per day.)
