Matt John Evans is a comedian, motivational speaker, educator and an actor who has been in movies such as Black Swan, Things To Do and Beowulf & Grendel. Matt uses a comedic style of presenting to deal with hard and important issues such as impaired driving, substance misuse, bullying and meeting challenges in life.
He’s the executive director of Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving, a registered Canadian charity. He’s been twice recipient (in 2006 and 2010) of the Road Safety Award for Professionalism from the Ministry of Transportation. Matt received a degree in communications from Wilfrid Laurier University and has also studied education at the University of Winnipeg and acting at George Brown College in Toronto. Matt has done two ICBC-sponsored tours of the secondary schools in the B.C. interior.
Audience: High school
Requirements: Microphone and stand if over 200 students.
Cost: $800 plus travel and expenses.
