Since 1990, we've invested approximately $120 million in road improvement projects and safety studies to help make B.C.'s roads safer. We work in partnership with municipalities and the provincial government to help make roads safer for everyone, including pedestrians and cyclists.
Why do we spend money on roads? Fewer crashes mean fewer injuries and wrecked cars—and fewer insurance claims. And lower claims costs help us keep rates as low as possible.
