Reporting unsafe situations
Your safety on the road can change from one moment to the next
due to weather, road conditions, other drivers and other things
beyond your control.
You might not be able to do anything about the problem itself.
But you can let the proper authorities know.
The following information can help keep our roads safer for all
of us.
Reporting an unsafe driver
How many times have you watched someone pull a crazy stunt on
the road and wished the police were there to catch the person?
You can report dangerous driving to your local police detachments.
If you witness an impaired driver or life-threatening incident,
you can call 911.
You can also report aggressive drivers on certain routes using
the special toll-free numbers listed below. Callers don't have
to disclose their names. The reporting system is anonymous.
Cell phone users are reminded to pull over before dialling.
