James Tan, Vice President, Claims Customer and Material Damage Services

James is responsible for overseeing claims customer service and material damage strategy and operations. Since joining ICBC in 2010, James has led several initiatives focused on making insurance more affordable for British Columbians, including the Rate Affordability Action Plan and more recently, the shift to Enhanced Care. James has also spent a number of years in the consulting industry with Accenture and Ernst and Young, across multiple industry sectors and geographies.  

James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
