Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses
Do you provide professional nursing services to customers injured in a car crash? ICBC is second payer, or secondary to any other health coverage plan inclusive of MSP, for treatment provided by nurses. In cases where ICBC is the primary payer, here are a few things to know.
Invoicing
Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses approved to provide professional nursing services for our customers may use the Health Care Provider Portal (HCPP) or the Health Care Provider Invoicing and Reporting (HCPIR) application to submit invoices directly to ICBC.
In some situations, you may opt out of using the HCPP or HCPIR, or may need to invoice for approved treatments that cannot be submitted through these channels. Invoices for these treatments can be submitted using the manual billing and document submission process.
