Visiting students and tourists

You can drive in B.C. with your existing licence for up to six months. Any restrictions you have on your home licence also apply here in B.C.

As a visiting student, you can drive for longer here but must be registered full-time at a recognized institution and may need a vehicle permit. Visit an Autoplan broker for more information.
