ICBC services - BCGEU job action updates

BCGEU job action at ICBC and Service BC locations has ended. As of Tuesday, Oct 28, services at ICBC Driver Licensing and Service BC locations will return to normal operations. Impacted customers are being contacted directly.

Driver licensing transactions
Due to the BCGEU job action, ServiceBC locations which normally offer driver licensing services cannot process driver licensing transactions (like licence renewals or knowledge tests) at this time.
While transactions can be completed at some Driver Licensing Agent locations around the province, they may be experiencing higher than normal volumes during the job action.

Insurance services at ServiceBC Centres
Service BC Centres in Atlin, Dease Lake, Bella Coola, Prince George and Stewart are not offering ICBC services due to the BCGEU job action. Instead, please consider renewing your insurance online, contacting an Autoplan broker or calling us at 604-661-6956 or 1-800-328-4484 (Monday to Friday 8.15 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.).
Commercial or private vehicle inspections
BCGEU job action may impact customers who have vehicles that require a Commercial Vehicle Inspection or Private Vehicle Inspection, due to a lack of inspection decals at some Vehicle Inspection Facilities. If you operate a vehicle that requires an inspection decal, please contact a Vehicle Inspection Facility prior to your visit, to ensure decals are available.
