Steve is the Deputy Chief of Operations, Victoria Fire Department. He shares his stories as a first responder to numerous vehicle crashes, including teen fatalities, and how first responders are affected. He discusses the importance of situational awareness and vehicle safety devices like seatbelts. Steve is a father, coach and world traveler. His stories highlight the importance of choosing your friends and making choices that will shape your future — good or bad.
Audience: Suitable for Grade 11 and 12 students (available for Vancouver Island schools only)
Cost: ICBC will sponsor $600 for a one-hour presentation
