With over 35 years of experience as an award-winning paramedic, Ted Swan has seen many tragedies and the devastating effects of crashes. In his presentation, Ted describes the science (physics, anatomy and physiology) involved in a crash, for both the vehicle and the passengers, using calls he has attended to emphasize his points. He will describe what a crash scene might look like, how paramedics attend to patients, what to expect at the hospital and how peer pressure impacts youth.​

  • Cost: ICBC will sponsor $600 for a one-hour presentation
