Hi, I'm Jason (he/him). As the interim president and CEO of ICBC, I’m proud to lead the Crown corporation made up of dedicated and diverse individuals making a difference across British Columbia. Alongside the executive team, I provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure we deliver affordable insurance, excellent customer experiences, and trusted protection to people in B.C. and all who travel on our roads. In my 19-year career with ICBC, I’ve held several leadership roles, including VP, Operations and Chief Legal Officer. 

A career highlight was playing a key leadership role in the implementation of Enhanced Care, the most significant auto insurance transformation in the company’s history. This initiative significantly improved affordability and recovery benefits, resulting in better car insurance for everyone in B.C. 

I hold a law degree from the University of Victoria and began my legal career with a focus on insurance law. As a former corporate secretary at ICBC as well, my understanding of the complexities of insurance and corporate governance have deeply influenced how I navigate complex challenges and ensure responsible, forward-thinking management. Outside of work I am kept quite busy as a parent to four children, whose ages span across sixteen years.
