Welcome to B.C.! You have 90 days to switch over your licence after moving to B.C.

You’ll need to book an appointment for most driver licensing services. Masks and physical distancing are voluntary when visiting a driver licensing office.

If you are moving away from B.C.
If
you have a current B.C. driver's licence and are moving, check with
your new licencing authority about what you will need to get a new
driver's licence. Your B.C. licence will remain valid for a 90 days
after you cease to be a resident in B.C.

Your insurance
In B.C., if you move, you are required to update ICBC with your new primary residential address within 10 days. Whenever you change address, you should make sure your vehicle licence, registration, and insurance is up to date to maintain your coverage.
