Your insurance

In B.C., if you move, you are required to update ICBC with your new primary residential address within 10 days. Whenever you change address, you should make sure your vehicle licence, registration, and insurance is up to date to maintain your coverage.

If you are moving away from B.C.

If you have a current B.C. driver's licence and are moving, chcek with your new licencing authority about what you will need to get a new driver's licence. Your B.C. licence will remain valid for a 90 days after you cease to be a resident in B.C.
