Planned outage on September 11, 2022

August 15, 2022

Outage

On Sunday, September 11, 2022, ICBC will undergo a planned outage to complete a software update. Like other organizations, we plan regular outages to maintain the functionality of our online products and services. This outage will impact our online services and the systems ICBC Autoplan Brokers use. Due to the outage, the following ICBC services will be unavailable on September 11:

  • Renewing and making changes to an existing insurance policy

  • Registering a new vehicle

  • Reporting a claim online

  • Retrieving a driver's history record or Individual Drivers Factor report

  • Retrieving vehicle history

All our services will be available again on Monday, September 12, 2022.
We recognize that there is never an ideal time for an outage, but we assure you that this outage is necessary to ensure a smooth customer experience. We aim to complete the upgrade as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience.
If your insurance policy is expiring on September 11, we recommend you renew online, in-person, or over the phone on or before September 10. As a reminder, if you park or drive a car that does not have valid insurance, you risk not being protected in the event of a loss.
If you have questions regarding this outage, please contact an Autoplan broker.
